Theories for Life / for relationships

The Library Theory

Imagine everyone you’ve ever loved …is a book.

Some become your favorite stories. The ones you return to again and again.

Some only stay for a chapter.

They teach you something. Change you somehow. Then end before you expected.

Some books you outgrow. Not because they were bad… but because you are no longer the person who first needed them.

Some remain unfinished. No clear ending. No final conversation. Just pages you never got to read.

And those can be the hardest to put down.

Because your mind keeps trying to write the ending for them.

But an unfinished story can still have meant something.

Not every person who changes your life is meant to remain in every chapter.

Their leaving does not erase what the story gave you.

You do not have to tear out every page just because the book ended.

You can place it back on the shelf… and keep reading what comes next.

Some people become the whole story. Others become a chapter you’ll always carry. Both can matter.
